A truly magical wedding day at Whirlow Brook Hall!

From the moment we first visited Whirlow Brook Hall, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. The beautiful grounds, the intimate feel of the ceremony room with its traditional fireplace, and the light and neutral reception room- that suited any decor and colour theme. The friendly, professional staff all made us feel so welcome. Annah was so wonderful on the build-up to our day, replying to emails and meeting with us to make arrangements.

On the day itself, everything was absolutely perfect. The team at Whirlow Brook Hall went above and beyond to ensure every detail was taken care of, from the way Claire expertly managed the seamless flow of the day’s events to the food, which was incredible. So many of our guests commented on the deliciousness of the meal and the evening buffet.

We were made to feel like nothing was too much trouble. We are so grateful to the entire team for making our wedding day a dream come true. The most perfect day ever! We cannot recommend Whirlow Brook Hall highly enough – it has a truly special place in our hearts.

They made our planning very easy and were always available should we have questions or need advice, from the day we first enquired to 1 and a half years later when we got married. Each staff member we interacted with (either by email, phone, or in person) was delightful and seemed genuinely interested in making our day special. For me (bride), it was fantastic to have staff around who were calm and able to listen to queries and help with things to ensure a smooth running of the day. They kept me informed of what was going on and the next things to happen without being overbearing and taking up any of my time or thoughts, so I could enjoy my day and feel relaxed, but still have oversight. I still can’t believe how at ease and comfortable I felt on the day.

The venue itself was ideal for our day, allowing us to escape into the gardens for our photos without going too far. The food was delicious, and we had a LOT of feedback from our guests echoing this. WBH also made a point of accommodating dietary requirements, which meant that everyone was able to enjoy it!

Having grown up together in Sheffield, Dan and I quickly made up our minds about getting married here. To us, Whirlow Brook Hall is a legendary Sheffield wedding venue, and this really became clear in the planning as WBH and our vendors were able to work seamlessly together.

Also, it was a super lovely touch to be able to have our dog with us on the day!!!

We had an amazing time at our wedding on at Whirlow Brook Hall. From first viewing all the way to the big day the staff could not have been more helpful, answering all our emails with queries and ensuring everything was perfect for the day. Jaqueline, on the day of the wedding, was a perfect wedding co-ordinator; she was on hand to help all morning and set up everything perfectly. Tom was also fantastic at liaising with us during the wedding itself and everything was smoothly. The food was amazing and we particularly loved the grazing board and belini station upgrade.

Thank you to all the staff for their continued support, we couldn’t have asked for a better venue to celebrate our special day!

We couldn’t have been happier having our wedding at Whirlow Brook Hall! In the lead up to our wedding, they did everything to accommodate what we wanted and left us feeling so confident that everything on the day would go well. The day itself ran so smoothly. We got to completely relax and enjoy our day and didn’t have to worry about any of the logistics – everything happened so smoothly around us! The food was also great – we catered fully vegetarian and so many of our picky meat-eating friends and family commented on how lovely to food was! We had the best day and so much of that was down to the staff at Whirlow Brook!

We are so grateful to everyone at Whirlow Brook Hall for such a beautiful day! Everything went so smoothly and we felt so supported, especially by Sasha who was endlessly kind and ran things wonderfully.

Not only a stunning venue (with natural beauty abound, intimate ceremony rooms, and a really peaceful bridal area with a lovely view), Whirlow Brook also boasts a wonderful team. Everyone was so helpful and supportive, always on hand to answer queries and lend a helping hand before and during our day. What a fabulous venue for the smoothest wedding! The staff and coordinators were absolutely fabulous. Everything was handled professionally, friendly, and efficiently.

As the bride and groom, we had not one stress or pressure. The venue was beautiful both inside and outside. It received many compliments from our guests. The wedding breakfast/meal was absolutely delicious, again receiving many compliments from our guests.

We used our bridesmaids’ flower bouquets as the centrepieces for our tables, which meant that the coordinator had to whip these up and ready between our “I do” and meal… Jacqueline did a great job! It looked perfect.

Thank you so much to the team for all their help and for making sure we had the most perfect day. Annah was so helpful through the run-up to the wedding, which we really appreciated.

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better venue or a more supportive team for our wedding. From start to finish, everyone at Whirlow Brook Hall was incredibly accommodating. We had a lot of personal touches and unique ideas we wanted to include on the day, and the response was always yes! They made us feel so important and completely supported every decision we made, it genuinely felt like our day, not just another wedding on their calendar.

On the day itself, Tom was our wedding coordinator, and he was absolutely amazing. He was always there when we needed him, keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes without ever making us feel rushed or stressed. His calm presence and attention to detail meant we could fully enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in great hands.

Whirlow Brook Hall, what an amazing place to get married!! I married my best friend on the 18th February 2023 here at Whirlow Brook Hall and it was an unforgettable day truly amazing from the very early start to the very late finish!! Jacqueline couldn’t do enough for us right from us hiring our table centre pieces and various other bits to her expert knowledge, guidance and helping with the finishing touches, nothing we asked for was to any trouble! We would highly recommend Whirlow Brook Hall for your perfect day. The only downside for us was that Whirlow Brook Hall does not have accommodation for you and your families to stay but Kenwood Hall is just a 10 minute taxi ride away. We cannot thank Whirlow Brook Hall and staff for everything from the planning, meetings, finishing touches to our amazing wedding day!! Mr & Mrs Williams

We had an incredible day at Whirlow Brook Hall. We booked 15 months in advance, every query was answered quickly & we honestly had such a stress free process! We loved the tasting menu evening & everything organised by Whirlow Brook in terms of meetings & payments were handled professionally, taking into consideration our shift patterns & being so welcoming to family members. Special mention to Emma Birch who has been my email buddy for so long, and the lovely staff who worked so hard on our wedding day to make sure everything went smoothly. Beautiful grounds, lovely building and would recommend getting ready there on the morning as we had a blast, with access to a big bridal room with everything you need to have a great start to your wedding day! We fell in love with Whirlow Brook and are so happy we decided to get married there as it will always be a treasured place for us and our family now.

Getting married is a whirlwind, especially for a bride with autism like me who decided to have a big wedding like we did. I don’t think I would have survived without the team at Whirlow Brook Hall, who did everything for us. Not only that, our coordinator was brilliant, constantly checking in to see if we were both okay, asking if we needed water, asking if we needed to delay things if we needed a moment. We even got food when we missed the buffet as we were busy being a bride and groom! I couldn’t recommend the venue enough, and I wish I could relieve the day.

Whirlow Brook Hall was everything and more that we could of wished for. From start to finish it has been the best experience with their whole team and we are so thrilled we chose this venue for our big day. AMAZING! Our wedding day was truly magical! It was everything we dreamed of and more, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication, knowledge, vision and expertise of all the staff at Whirlow Brook Hall. The venue is simply beautiful with the most amazingly maintained grounds, and it was decorated to perfection thank you to Jacqueline the stylist who brought our vision to life. The planning, organisation and guidance leading up to the wedding do not go unrecognised. Being invited to the menu tasting evening, the final details meeting, using the venue grounds for our pre-wedding photoshoot and the opportunity to visit Whirlow Brook Hall at our convenience made the excitement of our upcoming wedding even stronger. And as for the wedding day, WOW, Tom and the team are incredible. Words do not describe our appreciation for Tom’s dedication, organisation, personal touch and being simply wonderful, thank you, Tom. We wouldn’t change a thing about Whirlow Brook Hall on our wedding day. We highly recommend Whirlow Brook Hall as a wedding venue to anybody looking for a beautiful wedding. What an absolutely wonderful team at Whirlow Brook Hall. The staff took care of everything and were absolutely fantastic. The venue was beautiful, the food was delicious, the drinks were flowing. Everyone had an amazing time and I could not recommend this venue enough.
